The Autumn Defense Share “Hearts Arrive” Ahead of First Album in a Decade
New album Here and Nowhere out October 10 via Yep Roc Records

October 8, 2025 — The Autumn Defense return with “Hearts Arrive,” the latest single from Here and Nowhere, their sixth studio album and first in over a decade, out October 10 on Yep Roc Records.

“‘Hearts Arrive’ is a song about yearning for connection in a time of personal transformation,” says Patrick Sansone. “The music suggested a feeling of forward motion—both upbeat and slightly melancholy—and the lyrics sprang from there.”

In support of Here and Nowhere, the band will embark on a 10-date fall tour beginning October 24, with stops across the Northeast and South, plus a December show in Los Angeles. Special guest Chris Stamey joins select dates.

Recorded at Nashville’s Creative Workshop and produced by Sansone, Here and Nowhere finds the band reflecting on time, change, and connection, blending their signature harmony-rich sound with lush, orchestral textures.

Formed by John Stirratt (Wilco, Uncle Tupelo) and Pat Sansone (Wilco), The Autumn Defense—rounded out by James Haggerty (bass) and Greg Wieczorek (drums)—continue their warm, Laurel Canyon-inspired approach that’s defined them for nearly 20 years.
