Gooseberry have announced their sophomore album Simple Sucker, set for release September 25. The Brooklyn trio continue to build on their blend of alternative rock, indie, and blues, shaping a sound that leans into sharp hooks and character-driven songwriting. The album follows their debut All My Friends Are Cattle and marks a step forward as the band expands both their tone and thematic scope.

Leading the release is the new single “Durak,” a satirical, punk-leaning track that centers on a self-assured but unreliable narrator.
