Metric at Tabernacle on August 3rd, 2026

Metric have announced their tenth studio album, Romanticize The Dive, arriving April 24 via Thirty Tigers, and shared its reflective lead single, “Victim Of Luck,” with the official music video premiering on February 3rd. The track doubles as a mission statement, tracing the band back to their earliest days and revisiting the tension, vulnerability, and hunger that defined their beginnings, with Emily Haines opening the record through stark, self-aware lyrics that examine identity, ambition, and the weight of hindsight. A companion video for the song blends previously unseen archival footage—van rides, cigarettes, club shows, and cramped dressing rooms—with new material, layering the past against the present. The video also marks a reunion with indie sleaze photographer Mark the Cobrasnake, who captured some of the band’s earliest images in Los Angeles and has returned to document this new era.

Alongside the album announcement, Metric have revealed the All The Feelings North American Tour with Broken Social Scene and Stars, promoted by Live Nation, a celebration of long-standing friendship and creative communion that kicks off June 8 in Austin and wraps with a homecoming show in Toronto on August 7, with notable stops in Los Angeles, Brooklyn, Nashville, and Atlanta.
