Failure Announce Location Lost, Share “A Way Down” Ahead of Spring Tour
Failure have announced their seventh studio album Location Lost, arriving April 24 via Failure Records/Arduous Records/Virgin Music Group. The nine-track LP finds the Los Angeles trio continuing to evolve their distinct, atmospheric sound, leaning into unfamiliar textures and darker tonal landscapes. The latest single, “A Way Down,” channels early influences like The Cure and Siouxsie & The Banshees, pairing angular guitars with themes of miscommunication and isolation. Rather than revisiting the past, Location Lost captures a band actively redefining itself in the present—balancing tension, melody, and experimentation across a body of work that feels both deliberate and uncharted.
In support of the release, Failure will embark on a spring North American tour, which includes a stop in Atlanta on May 6 at The Masquerade (Hell). The run follows a sold-out album release show in Los Angeles and features support from All Under Heaven on select dates, along with festival appearances at Sick New World, SPACE ECHO in Chicago, and Welcome to Rockville. With multiple dates already sold out, the tour reflects the band’s enduring influence and continued resonance across generations of listeners.
