Snail Mail Returns with Ricochet, Maps Out 2026 Tour
Snail Mail has released her third album Ricochet, out now via Matador Records. The 11-track record marks her first in five years and finds Lindsey Jordan expanding on the guitar-driven foundation of her earlier work while leaning further into themes of time, mortality, and emotional distance. Tracks like “Tractor Beam” and “Dead End” balance dense, layered guitars with introspective songwriting, as Jordan shifts away from the turbulence of young love toward something more reflective and unresolved. The album was co-produced with Aron Kobayashi Ritch and continues to build on the sonic progression established across Lush and Valentine.
In support of Ricochet, Snail Mail will embark on a North American tour beginning April 10, with a stop in Atlanta on April 22 at Variety Playhouse. The run includes dates across the U.S. and Canada before continuing overseas in June, followed by a performance at Fuji Rock Festival in Japan this summer. With Ricochet, Jordan returns with a clearer sense of control and direction, carrying that momentum into a tour that spans intimate venues and larger rooms alike.
