Atlanta’s Improvement Movement Announce Fall Tour, Including Atlanta Homecoming Show

Improvement Movement have announced additional North American tour dates in support of their forthcoming album Your Perfect Real Life, arriving August 21 via ATO Records. The Atlanta quartet also released a new live session recorded at the Relix studio in New York, featuring performances of “In the Morning,” “Still Cold,” and longtime fan favorite “Bill.” Built around layered harmonies, shifting arrangements, and communal musicianship, the session offers another preview of the band’s increasingly expansive sound ahead of the album’s release.
The newly announced fall run begins September 17 and includes a hometown performance in Atlanta on October 10 at Goat Farm. The dates follow a summer schedule of headline shows and festival appearances and extend through November with stops across the United States and Canada. Your Perfect Real Life marks Improvement Movement’s first release for ATO Records and draws on the band’s years within Atlanta’s DIY community, pairing angular arrangements and progressive-rock instincts with songs centered on uncertainty, connection, and navigating the contradictions of modern life.
