MESSA Share Cold Cave Remix of “At Races,” Set Atlanta Date with Uncle Acid and the Deadbeats

MESSA have released a new remix of “At Races” by Cold Cave, reworking the track from their 2025 album The Spinwith a darker synthpop and darkwave edge. The remix builds on the band's increasingly wide-ranging approach, which pulls from doom, jazz, blues, goth rock, ambient music, and classic heavy metal. The Spin, released via Metal Blade Records, marked another expansion of that sound, with the band leaning more heavily into early goth and darkwave influences while maintaining the weight and experimentation that have defined their work.

Following a run of summer festival appearances, MESSA will return to North America this fall as direct support for Uncle Acid and the Deadbeats, with several headline dates scheduled along the way. The tour includes a stop in Atlanta on September 9 at The Masquerade before continuing across the U.S. and Canada through October 11. From there, the band will head back overseas for a European and UK headline tour with The Night Eternal.
